In the dock as “Clipboard › Stack”

Paste a series, in order

Moving ten values from one window to another usually means ten trips back and forth. Stack lets you copy them all first, then paste them one after another where you need them.

How it works

  1. 1
    Collect
Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+C (or the Collect button). While it says “Collecting”, every new copy joins the queue.
  2. 2
    Paste
Click where you want the first value and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+V. The next item is pasted. Repeat.
  3. 3
    Check what is next
The “Up next” card shows exactly what the next paste will insert, with a Paste button.

What it does

  • Full control of the queue
Drag to reorder, paste from any row, Skip next, Start over, remove one, or Empty the stack. The notch shows “Stack 3” (entries left to paste).
  • Paste all into a spreadsheet
Put the whole queue into a spreadsheet at once, as a row (cells side by side) or a column (top to bottom), pasted straight in or just copied. It uses tab-separated text that Excel, Google Sheets and Airtable read as cells. Text only.
  • Instant numbers
When two or more queued items are numbers, a bar shows count, Sum, Avg, Min and Max. It understands 1,250.50, $99, 15% and (42) for −42, and does not treat dates or phone numbers as numbers.

Shortcuts

They work in any app. Change any of them in Settings > Shortcuts.

  • Start or stop collecting copies
  • Paste the next one

Good to know

Limits and defaults, stated plainly.

  • The queue lives in memory only. It is gone when you quit PerchDeck.
  • Pasting works by sending Ctrl+V to the app in front. Programs running as administrator ignore it unless PerchDeck is also run as administrator.
  • Paste presses closer than 250 ms apart are ignored (key repeat).
